We stayed here for three days in April. Everything was amazing. Christy and Robert were wonderful hosts and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We went on a trip on the river which was wonderful, and a sunset horseback ride which was a wonderful way to see the area!
We had such a wonderful trip to the Mayan Mountains of Belize. The house was amazing, ideally situated for the daily sunrise. The eco-designed house was made to outdoor living with a huge deck for listening to Howler Monkeys and bird songs. Would recommend these add-on for the adventurous; Juggle boat waterfall tour, and sunset horseback trip. It was also great to have prepared dinners at the end of each day by Millie! They were wonderful!
The wild life viewing from the deck was spectacular ! Highly recommend the boat tour and horse back ride with Robert. Highly recommend having Millie make your dinners. what a great treat to come home to a wonderful meal with a million dollar view of the deck
Wonderful stay! Beautiful views and location!! We enjoyed the home and activities very much. The house is wonderful with little touches like an ice maker that made a huge difference! Millie was especially amazing, making us delicious food each day. She really made our trip special!!!!
If you want to wake up with an amazing view every morning and have access to incredible excursions, then this is your place. We absolutely loved staying here. The drive from Belize City is about 2.5-3hrs and I would highly recommend a 4X4 vehicle (we rented from Crystals and it was easy and reliable service). Make sure you get dinner cooked by Molie, that woman can cook. We did the ATM tour which was a neat experience, Juan Carlos was a great tour guide. Roberto took us out on the pontoon boat and showed us the waterfalls (a must do). I highly recommend staying at Casa Gala.
Christy and Robert were AMAZING!! I highly recommend that everyone stay at Casa Gala. Not only was the house beautiful it was placed right in the middle of the jungle. Everyday we woke up to monkeys in the distance and birds chirping. I recommend having them look for you. Every meal we had was amazing and everyone was so friendly. Keep in mind, this is off the beaten path. You will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle, the road is a little bumpy. Robert also took us on a sunset horseback ride which was the most wonder ride I have ever done. The next day they took us on a Jungle waterfall boat tour. I highly recommend both of these activities. We have no complaints and will recommend Casa Gala to all of our friends and family!! Thank you so much!
We spent 5 nights at Casa Gala and loved it so much we added an extra night as we just didn’t want to leave. The house was beautiful and in a beautiful spot. We woke to parrots and toucans just outside the deck and at night sat out in the moonlight listening to the Howler monkeys. Robert and Christy were wonderful hosts, and were helpful and accommodating. Be sure to have Millie cook for you you won’t regret it! Would go back again anytime.
